Managing Partner, Corporate Strategy
Jeff Crowell is Managing Partner of Corporate Strategy at OpenArc Corporate Advisory, where he also serves as a founding Board Member. With nearly three decades of experience in benefits administration and institutional consulting, Jeff plays a key leadership role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction and delivering innovative solutions to corporate clients.
In his current role, Jeff focuses on institutional relationship management and the development of executive and employee benefit strategies. He partners with organizations to address the complex challenges of financial wellness through retirement plans and equity award programs. His work includes the design and oversight of services such as equity compensation plans, 401(k), nonqualified deferred compensation (NQDC), defined benefit plans, corporate 529 plans, healthcare savings accounts, and 10b5-1 trading plans.
Prior to OpenArc, Jeff was a partner with Merrill’s Global Corporate & Institutional Advisory Services (GCIAS) Group, where he led efforts in human capital strategy and executive services. Before Merrill, he held senior leadership roles at Aon Hewitt (now Alight Solutions), including Benefits Director and Defined Contribution Practice Leader, serving several Fortune 500 clients.
Jeff earned a B.S. in Finance from Miami University in Ohio and holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations, along with the CIMA®, C(k)P®, and CPFA™ certifications. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Amy, and their two daughters. Their oldest son, Evan, is pursuing a journalism degree at the University of Missouri, and their son William plays baseball at Chattahoochee Valley Community College.
