Kristopher Gilliland, CRPC™

Kristopher S. Gilliland is Senior Vice President, Executive Trading at OpenArc Corporate Advisory. With more than 25 years of experience in equity sales, trading, and capital markets, Kris specializes in helping corporate executives, directors, and other insiders navigate complex stock-related planning and trading needs. He leads OpenArc’s Rule 10b5-1 trading plan offering, overseeing strategy, implementation, and administration across multiple industry-leading providers. Through this role, Kris works closely with wealth advisors, issuers, and plan sponsors to deliver customized solutions that support liquidity, diversification, risk management, and regulatory compliance objectives.

Prior to joining OpenArc, Kris worked in both New York and Atlanta, making significant contributions to Merrill Lynch’s Institutional Capital Markets Group, the Institutional Advisory Division, and GCIAS—delivering exceptional service and tailored strategies to a broad spectrum of institutional, corporate, and individual clients. 

Kris holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™) designation from The College for Financial Planning and is a graduate of The University of Alabama where he received his Bachelor of Science in International Finance. 

Kris lives in Atlanta with his wife, Hadley, and their two daughters.
