J Dillon Collins

Managing Director, Philanthropic Investment Consulting

J Dillon Collins leads the firm’s Philanthropic Investment Consulting division. Dillon’s background includes working with institutional clients through trading, capital markets, and investment management roles. Dillon has experience raising and stewarding assets for a nonprofit institution, aligning mission and financial goals. In his role at OpenArc, he plays an active part in advancing the firm’s growth alongside its clients, consistently focusing on helping them achieve their long‑term goals and objectives.

Originally from the New York Metro area, Dillon attended Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, where he earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees.

In 2021, Dillon relocated from New York City to Atlanta with his wife and daughter, where he has become deeply engaged in the local philanthropic community. He serves as a mentor and Board of Visitors member at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School and contributes to its Mission and Identity Committee. Dillon is also an Executive Committee member of the Board of Trustees at Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center and volunteers as a breakfast feeder at Shepherd Center.

Outside of his professional and philanthropic commitments, Dillon enjoys traveling with his family, preparing large meals for gatherings, and hosting classic movie screenings for family and friends.
